DANCE WITH US!

Welcome to CrossCurrents Barn Dance in Kansas City, Missouri!  

We hold our dances on the 4th Saturday of each month at Keystone United Methodist Church 

Contra dance, also known as barn dance, is traditional American folk dance with a modern flair. This style of dancing is done to live, fiddle-style music with great callers who guide you through each dance. 

Our dances are great fun and an excellent way to meet new people. Our dance community attracts people of all ages  — tweens to 70+.  

• No partner? No problem! Contra dance is social, so you’ll get to interact with everyone in the room.

• No experience? No problem! Come early and we’ll show you the basics.

 

Dress in comfortable clothes and shoes – contra dance is lively!
